The Lister Motor Company Limited brings together the historic businesses, assets and intellectual property associated with one of Britain’s most important motor racing marques.
Formed to reunite the core elements of the Lister brand under one roof, The Lister Motor Company Limited has acquired the original jigs, plans, drawings, manufacturing assets and associated intellectual property relating to the design and construction of historic Lister motor cars, including the celebrated Lister racing cars of the 1950s and 1960s. The company has also acquired the assets, intellectual property rights, trade names, logos and associated goodwill connected with later Lister road and racing cars, including the Lister Storm.
Today, The Lister Motor Company Limited owns and controls the principal commercial rights associated with the design, manufacture, continuation, development and promotion of Lister vehicles, past, present and future, together with related component parts, branding and heritage assets.

All third-party names, logos and marks appearing on this Site remain the property of their respective owners.
Heritage and Continuation
The Lister marque continues to be developed with reference to its historic engineering foundations, including original drawings, jigs and manufacturing knowledge associated with the company’s racing and road cars. Lister’s official website continues to present the Stealth, Costin and wider Lister range as part of the modern marque, with continuation and heritage models built from Cambridge.
